The C.S.P.T. is located on the central coast of California right between L.A. and San Fransisco. It is an extremely scenic area of the state. It has one of the most beatiful stretches of coast in the country. There are also several places to visit and uniques sights to see.

The Hearst Castle is 30 minutes away from The C.S.P.T. on the coast of San Simeon.

Right in front of the castle is a stretch of beach called Piedras Blancas. There is an old light house and a colony of elephant seals on the beachs there. You can actually get very close to these "incredibly huge" animals as well as watch them swimming/fighting/mating off the cliffs of San Simeon.

The historic town of Cambria is very nearby as well. It is a great weekend getaway. Downtown San Luis Obispo has a fantastic shopping district, near Cal Poly San Luis, and great farmers markets as well
