Just watched Demi's DVD on OC Spray for the second
time and initial impressions are that the content is
superb, the rationales & methods to implement its use
are clearcut.
Furthermore, it is obvious that Demi has spent a considerable
amount of time training with OC Spray because he imparts
some true "pearls of wisdom" through out the dvd...when,
why, and how to effectively use the stuff. It is an
exhaustive study put together logically and with absolutely
no fluff.
Also, I was taken aback with some things that I'm glad
are covered about OC Spray, that of the medical implications
when you do inflict the stuff. He points out some of
the inherent dangers of its use, particularly, where
an officer has made an arrest after spraying someone
and asphyxia & ventilation come into the picture. Folks,
this is not a heartless dvd on the subject matter...this
is a method of instruction with all the ethical consequences
put together. Very thorough...very complete.
Moreover, he shows you how to use OC Spray against
multiple attackers, close quarters, and on the ground.
Like I said, very thorough...very complete. From the
onset, I was very curious to what extent Demi would
explore this particular arena of self-preservation...and
it is very apparent that he has put in some untold amount
of time into this. I was very pleased to say the least.
If you have been considering in implementing this weapon
into your curriculum give this dvd some serious consideration.
